PRISON NETWORK NEIGHBOURHOOD CHALLENGE
IT’S EASY TO RAISE FUNDS AND CHANGE LIVES WITH PRISON NETWORK!
Until Oct 16 join the Prison Network Community to walk/run/ride/scoot around your neighbourhood, to raise awareness and funds which goes towards the support and rehabilitation of women (and their families) who have found themselves in Prison.
Over the last 70 years, Prison Network has been supporting Victorian women (and their families) through their most challenging times, helping them see that change is possible and they are loved and valued regardless of their history and mistakes.
Most women in prison are victims of sexual, physical and emotional abuse. Many also face additional and complex challenges such as homelessness, mental health concerns, addiction and social isolation.
Prison Network is "on the ground" through its in-prison programs, meeting women as they enter prison, providing opportunities for relationship, recreation and reflection. Post release, this support continues as we encourage women on their journey towards change and restoration.
We rely heavily on generous donations from people like you, who with us, want to see women restored and families reunited.
You can help raise funds by either:
- Setting a goal, create your Every Day Hero page and join the Prison Network Team, then walk/run/ride/scoot for 5, 10 or 15 kms around your neighbourhood at any time until Oct 16 and raise funds by sharing your Everyday Hero page with friends and family, (see the right column for how to do this)
OR - Sponsoring a friend, family or someone you don’t know to do the PN Neighbourhood Challenge.
"If ever you doubt what you're doing, please know that you have helped to change my life and bring restoration, hope and faith to a very broken, grateful woman. Thank you". Anonymous.
Thank you for being so generous!
