Our Staff

PNM consists of six staff members and a team of volunteers who coordinate our programs and work directly with the women. We are also overseen by an independant Board of Directors.

- CEO Deb Redford began working with PNM as a volunteer in 2003 before taking up a role as Support Worker. Deb took over the reins as CEO in 2006.
- Senior Support Worker Laurel Gore has worked for PNM since 1996, previously spending 10 years with Youth for Christ working with women prisoners and at-risk youth. Laurel is a familiar face inside the prison running regular sports programs and spending time with the women.
- Chelsea Leatham joined us in December 2008 as a Support Worker. Chelsea has completed studies in Theology and Social Work and a one-year church internship. She has also worked at an inner-city drop-in centre working with people experiencing homelessness and mental illness.
- Alex Cuss joined us in October 2008 and is currently completing a Diploma in Community Werlfare at Chisholm Tafe. She has previously worked with young offenders as a volunteer with SLAM and has also spent several months volunteering in a Thai orphanage. Alex is our Children's/Support Worker.
- Coordinator of Volunteers Marisa Coster works part-time heading up our team of dedicated volunteers, to ensure they have excellent training and on-going support. Marisa joined PNM in January 2011.
- Lyndel Baldwin joined us in January 2011 as a Remand/Support Worker. Lyndel has a Bachelor of Arts (Counselling) Degree and has gained valuable experience at both Anglicare and Sacred Heart Mission Women's House in St Kilda.
